The Grey Self-Adhesive Switchable Smart Film offers a sleek and modern alternative to traditional switchable films, specifically designed to enhance spaces with contemporary grey frames and partitions. This film provides a subtle grey tint that not only complements modern aesthetics but also subtly improves light transmission through glass and acrylic surfaces. We produce this film with the same adhesive layer as our White Switchable Film, making it a film which can be applied on site or within your home. We can offer training, guides, support, tutorials and videos on how to install the product. Or we can also offer you the full installation service of the film.
While there is no power (off) to the Grey Switchable Film it will remain in it’s frosted grey tint state, then when you apply power (on) it will switch to be see through – as this is a grey tinted crystal the tint will remain when in it’s on state.
Our Grey Self-Adhesive Switchable Smart Privacy Film is available in widths up to 1800mm but it can be custom cut to size and shape providing one of the dimensions falls under this. If you have a seamless panel which exceeds this the film can always be installed with a slight join line / seam.
This version of our Switchable Film can also be used as a High Definition Rear Projection Screen, because of it’s grey tint it offers superior contrast levels compared to our White version also.

Yes, since the layer of glass is tinted and it is integrated with our PDLC technology, when it switches on (transparent) the tint of the glass will remain that colour.
