This unique technology has been made using a proprietary manufacturing process that allows us to produce a colour variation of standard PDLC technology.
Market demand for a darker tint Switchable technology encouraged this development, however, due to the way PDLC technology operates, customers are often left disappointed that a true blackout Switchable technology is physically impossible. This fact encouraged Intelligent Glass to begin work on a new product, a solution that blocks out even more light than standard Switchable technology.
It also allows customers to choose a colour which may be more fitting for their installation such as corporate colours. Tints maybe limited, so please feel free to reach out to our team for options.

By standard fully tinted glass availability is Grey, Bronze, Blue and Green however should you require something custom please contact our sales team for available options.
Yes, as the layer of glass is tinted and it combines our PDLC technology integrated with it when it switches on (transparent) the tint of the glass will remain that colour.
We can offer tints in any type of glass product, whether this be Switchable Glazing, Laminate, or Toughened Glass.
Yes! Along with our leading standard Switchable Smart Film, we also offer a grey tinted variant of the film as an alternative to darker tinted glass.
Yes, due to the raw material of already tinted glass being more expensive that standard clear glass there will be a slight uplift in cost for this product compared to normal. Please contact our team for pricing and availability.
